Justine Ezarick is all over the place. With more than 1,700 online videos and five YouTube channels she does everything from video blogging about her life to giving product reviews and video game commentary. There are also the random spurts of dancing in Apple stores. The result? The 28 year old has gotten a couple of small acting parts and an award at the 2011 Webby Awards for "choice web personality."
Ever wonder what your pets are really thinking? This channel takes cats and dogs and gives them a voice of their own.
The creators of this channel take clips of political leaders or well-known music videos, cut out the sound, and interpret what they think the person is saying. It's a lot of laughs.
Ian Hecox and Anthony Padilla have more than 4.6 million subscribers. Whether they are producing a Guys Guide to Hugging Guys or giving a real-life representation of what would happen if scary movies or video games were real, their comedic timing is spot on.
Jenna Mourey first gained popularity when her video How to Trick People Into Thinking You’re Good Looking went viral back in July 2010. With more than 2.8 million subscribers to her YouTube channel, her no-nonsense commentary and witty banter provide an endless source of laughter.
Annoying Orange was created by Dane Boedigheimer in 2009. This series features a bunch of talking fruit, vegetables, and one high-pitched marshmallow. The orange, which often serves as the focal point, typically hangs out in the kitchen looking for other inanimate objects to pester. Since then it's been turned into video game characters, toys, and t-shirts.
This channel documents regular people going undercover and causing chaos and utter confusion. One of their most famous videos Frozen Grand Centralfeatured 200 people freezing in place at the same time for five minutes. Creator Charlie Todd has mentioned that he wanted to do things that were positive, unique, and gave people a good story to tell.
It’s hard enough to make one viral-worthy video. Now imagine creating and running an actual YouTube channel with weekly video updates for millions of viewers who expect this all the time? That’s basically a full-time job in itself. Still, the people behind these seven channels have managed to do it pretty well.
So, put the headphones on, close the office door, and don’t drink any liquids, because these videos will have you rolling over in laughter.
